If I had to describe myself in one word, a good suggestion would be perfectionist. In addition, I often help my fellow students to understand the assignments, and I get praise for being quick to spot what they are doing wrong.

Through my time at the university, I have gained a broad and essential knowledge of the programming languages: ARM, C, C++, Golang, Java, Javascript, LLVM--, OCaml, Python, R, Scala and x86.

In addition, I have gained extensive experience about Git and LaTeX.

Experience

Instructor, Learn software design using C++ from the inventor of C++ • Department of Computer Science • 01/07/2024 - 31/08/2024

I have been an instructor in the summer course Learn software design using C++ from the inventor of C++ (5 ETCS) at the Department of Computer Science, which was an optional summer course in computer science. Here I had the task of correcting three submissions a week, for the two weeks, from 30 of the total of some 60 students, as well as answer any questions the students might have. The course's professor was Bjarne Stroustrup, and focused on how to design readable, maintainable and solid code, not only in C++.

I have been an instructor in the course Programming languages (10 ETCS) at the Department of Computer Science, which is in the 2nd semester of the bachelor in computer science. Here I was tasked with holding Theoretical Exercises (TØ) for three hours once a week, for four months, for a class of around 25 students. In addition, I had to correct one submission per week from the students in my class (partner assignments). The course's professor was Anders Møller, and focused on operational semantics, inductive types and functional programming in Scala.

Alongside university, I have worked in Netto Åbyhøj, where I was responsible for the store, which includes serving customers, replenishing goods, ordering goods, various cleaning tasks, and more.

In the beginning of September to the end of November, I worked as a software developer at the consulting company Zentosoft, where I worked to improve the customers' software.

App Developer, Complyteq • Trifork • 01/02/2022 – 31/03/22

I have worked part-time, alongside my work at Føtex Skanderborg, for Trifork, more precisely Complyteq, where I helped them with IOS app development in Swift. However, I started on a trial period where I was not paid during the time I worked there, and after the two months , I then found out that they didn't have enough money to hire me. I therefore don't have a contract with them either.

I have worked part-time and full-time, in the food and non-food (radio/tv) departments in Føtex Skanderborg, where my primary roles have been shelf stacker and sales assistant. I became, among others, employee of the month in April 2019, and service star of the month in October 2021. Things said about me, as an employee, by my managers:

Programmer • Aerodyne Atsite A/S • 01/01/2020 – 29/02/2020

For a short period, I had the opportunity to work at Aerodyne Atsite A/S, which is a Danish company that specializes in drones for the inspection of wind turbines and drilling platforms, with the intention of locating damages or the like. Here I had the task of optimizing the drone's storage of images, controlled by an Arduino microprocessor, programmed in the Arduino IDE, which is a coding language based on C and C++.

I have also been an assistant instructor in HI gymnastics, where I, together with the instructor and two others, had boys' jumps 0th to 3rd grade, once a week.

My first ever job was as a paperboy, where I delivered ads and newspapers two times a week, after school, in the local area.

Voluntary work

Deputy Chairman • Smukfest Cashless • 01/04/2024 – Now

I have been deputy chairman at Smukfest Cashless, with responsibility for pengekassen, since April 2024.

Board Member • Fredagscaféen • 01/03/2024 – Now

I have been a board member of Fredagscaféen since March 2024, and been responsible for the bars website and scheduling of shifts. The website is written in Django, which I have gained a solid knowledge of.

Volunteer • Matroska • 01/03/2024 – Now

Matroska plans movie nights for students at the Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University.

Event Planner • Regnecentralen • 01/10/2023 – 30/10/2024

I have been on Regnecentralen's committee in the period from October 2023 to September 2024. Regnecentralen (or RC in everyday speech) is a community and social forum, both digital, but also a physical room, for students of computer science and IT product development, at Aarhus University.

I have been a bartender at Fredagscaféen since April 2023. Fredagscaféen (or datbar in everyday speech) is a friday bar at computer science and IT at Aarhus University.

I have been a tutor at Mat/Fys-Tutorforeningen, located at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Aarhus University, in 2023 and 2024.

Member • Smukfest Cashless • 01/05/2022 – Now

I have been a member of Smukfest Cashless since May 2022. Smukfest Cashless is in the category Finance and Accounting Coordination, and is responsible for helping guests with the Cashless app, and is also responsible for the only place on the festival, where guests can exchange their cash for units on their wristbands.
